Egyptian Ambassador to Togo Karim Sharif held a meeting Saturday with newly appointed Health Minister Mostafa Mijiyawa in Lomé.

According to Egypt's Health Ministry, the diplomat handed the minister an invitation to visit 57357 Hospital in Cairo and discuss a draft memo of understanding.

The suggested memo provides opportunities for 15 Togolese physicians to receive training at the hospital, a statement by the ministry said.

The meeting took up also cooperation with Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation and Mohamed A. Ghoneim Urology and Nephrology Center, the statement added.

The minister and the diplomat talked opportunities for cooperation with Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development, the ministry said.
