Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy today discussed in telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them in economic, political and security fields . During the phone conversation, the two ministers exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest, especially the Middle East peace process and the latest developments of the Syrian crisis in light of preparations for the Geneva 2 conference , which will be held next January, said Spokesman of the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Ambassador Badr Abdul Ati.
