Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el Damaty held on Thursday a meeting with Japanese Ambassador to Egypt Takehiro Kagawa.

The meeting was attended by Supervisor General of the Grand Egyptian Museum Tareq Tawfiq.

They tackled the possibility of obtaining another loan from Japan to finalize the museum and provide it with all needed facilities.

The Japanese ambassador, meanwhile, said his country is ready to dispatch experts and technicians to work in the museum.
