A delegation from an Egyptian church has returned from the Gaza Strip, security sources told Arabstoday, following a visit that lasted several days. The nine-member delegation from Cairo’s Khamsiniah church met with Baptists inside Gaza, as a demonstration of solidarity with Christian Palestinians following Israel’s aggression in November, which left 170 dead and over a thousand others wounded in eight days. Egyptian Christians also met Christian children in the Strip, donating books and stationary. The Egyptian delegation returned via the Rafah crossing, having originally entered Gaza on January 17.
