Various members of Egypt's community in the United States continued to denounce the terrorist attacks that targeted armed forces men in North Sinai on Wednesday morning.

A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday said that the Egyptian consulate in New York received joint statements from Coptic churches and mosques in New York and New Jersey and other religious institutions in the United States condemning the terrorist attack.

They also condemned the killing of prosecutor general Hesham Barakat and offered condolence over his death.
