Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi left here on Saturday for Moscow leading a high-profile military delegation on a several days' visit to Russia for talks with top brass there.
The visit aims at bolstering military and security cooperation as well as exchanging military expertise and training between the armed forces of the two countries.
The visit reflects the depth of strategic relations binding Egypt and Russia and comes after Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Egypt and his talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on bolstering relations in all domains.
