Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi hailed the friendship binding the Egyptian and French peoples over the centuries.
During a press conference held jointly with his visiting French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian after signing a military agreement on Monday, Sobhi said today’s meeting marks a new start of strategic ties between the two countries as Egypt is the first friendly state to receive 24 French Rafale jets and the FREMM frigate.
