Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister Osama Magdoub expressed on Wednesday Egypt's support for the political solution in Libya.
This came during a meeting with UN Special Envoy to Libya Bernardino Leon to discuss the latest developments in Libya.
In its statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said that the meeting tackled efforts exerted to achieve peace in Libya and uproot terrorism.
Leon, meanwhile, thanked Egypt for its role in the Libyan crisis, calling on all warring parties in Libya to achieve reconciliation as soon as possible.
