Egyptian Ambassador to Zambia Ragaei Nasr took part on Tuesday in the investiture of father Youhanna, the new pastor of the Greek church in Zambia and Malawi, upon an invitation from the Greek Orthodox church in Alexandria.

Addressing the ceremony, the ambassador asserted that Egypt's hosting of the Greek Orthodox church in Alexandria since 2000 proves the depth of relations between Egypt and Greece, saying it is an indication of the tolerance of the Egyptian people who welcome all religions.

Father Youhanna thanked the Egyptian government during the ceremony which was attended by Zambia's founding President Dr. Kenneth Kaunda and foreign ambassadors to Zambia
