Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr arrived here on Sunday on a visit, the first of its kind in 20 years by a senior Egyptian official to the Horn of Africa country. Upon his arrival, Amr was received by Somali Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Fawzia Yusuf Adan. He is scheduled to head for the presidency headquarters for talks with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud. He will also meet Somali Defense Minister Abdi hakin Haji Mohamudd Fiqi and Parliament Speaker Mohamed Osman Jawari. During his visit, the Egyptian foreign minister will re-open the Egyptian embassy in Mogadishu.
