Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohamed Kamel Amr will head for Doha on Friday to participate in a ministerial meeting of countries supporting the Syrian opposition, due to start on Saturday, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel-Ati. The meeting will be attended by the foreign ministers of 11 countries; Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Turkey, the United States, France, Germany, Italy and Britain. The spokesman added the meeting will discuss the latest developments in Syria and crystallizing a joint vision for settling the Syrian crisis, as well as preparations for the Geneva-2 Conference that will be held within weeks to find a political solution to this crisis. During the meeting, Amr will post the attendees on Egypt\'s vision of the situation in Syria and ongoing regional and international efforts to bring an end to bloodletting there, the spokesman said. Egypt will continue its efforts to reach a political solution to the Syrian crisis, the spokesman added.
