Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry receives on Saturday a phone call from his US counterpart John Kerry on means of bolstering bilateral relations in all domains with the aim of achieving common interests.

In statements on Saturday, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Aatti said the two ministers held consultations over the Middle East situation and a set of regional files of common concern.

They also agreed on holding a tete-a-tete meeting in New York on April 27 on the fringe of the Regular Review of the Non-Proliferation Treaty, the spokesman noted.

The ministers also agreed on holding a three-way meeting including Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judah to address the latest developments in Yemen and Libya, the Palestinian issue and means of pushing forward ME peace process.
