Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry made a phone call with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier to discuss preparation for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to Berlin slated for June 3.

Both countries are looking forward to enhancing bilateral relations in all political, economic and cultural fields, Shoukry said.

The ministers agreed to intensify contacts during the coming period.
