The Egyptian-German Friendship Society vehemently condemned Tuesday the murder of Prosecutor General Hesham Barakat.

The society's head Reda Shata said such heinous crime shows the gravity of black terror which aims at destabilizing not only Egypt, but also the whole world.

Shata called on the whole world, especially the US and Europe, to support Egypt in confronting terror to avoid its spread, referring to the recent terror attacks in Tunisia, Kuwait and France.

Shata hailed the role played by Egyptian judges and key figures like Barakat to realize security and stability in the country.
