Minister of Manpower and Immigration Nahed Ashry left Saturday for Kuwait to attend the 42nd round of the Arab Labor Conference.

The event will run until April 25 under the auspices of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmad al Jaber al Sabah at the presence of governments, employers and employees from 21 Arab states along with a galaxy of Arab and international figures in the field of economic and social development.

A new head for the Arab Labor Organization will be elected for a four-year term out of five candidates nominated for the post from Egypt, Kuwait, Jordan, Morocco and Lebanon.

The Egyptian candidate for the post is former minister of social solidarity Ahmed el Borai.
