The Popular Current on Saturday denied that its founder Hamdeen Sabahi or party leaders called for evacuating their main headquarters and branches in the governorates. The Current called on the interior ministry to shoulder its responsibility in securing all its offices and in protecting its members. The group condemned calls to storm and attack the offices of the opposition parties, asserting that there is a big difference between such calls and protests outside the office of the Muslim Brotherhood, which is considered the symbol of power. Such calls for violence will not frighten or discourage the Current from continuing the revolution to achieve dignity for the Egyptians, the group said.
