Minister of Scientific Research Sherif Hammad left here Sunday heading for Berlin on a five-day visit at an invitation from the German scientific exchange authority.

In pre-departure statements to MENA, Hammad said that the visit will take up scientific cooperation in vital fields, especially in the field of new and renewable energy.

The visit will also include visiting Max Planck institute and the German Academy of Sciences in Berlin.
