The turnout for the referendum on Egypt's draft constitution is a new lesson in democracy to the world, Cabinet spokesman Sherif Shawqi said Tuesday. The Egyptian people have always been there for their country in times of need, Shawqi told On TV. Hopefully, this democratic festivity would lead to completing the roadmap, he said. Shawqi added that Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawy is closely following the vote which started across Egypt earlier Tuesday.
