Cairo - MENA
The Interior Ministry asserted Monday its commitment to securing all facilities as well as its respect for the right of peaceful demonstration. The ministry, in a statement, noted that the security forces are also committed to self-restrain. Yet, the forces will take all actions necessary to prevent outlaws from rioting and undermining the country's security. The ministry issued the statement in the light of calls for protests on Tuesday. The protests aim to challenge President's Mohamed Morsi's constitutional declaration that makes all laws, decrees and constitutional declarations issued by the president since he came into office on June 30 are final and unchallengeable by any body.
