Egypt's Ambassador to Thailand Hazem al Tahiri has conferred with the Thai agriculture minister on means of boosting joint cooperation in the agricultural domain.

In a statement released by the Foreign Ministry on Saturday, the diplomat highlighted the necessity of reviving a cooperation protocol signed between the two countries for technical and scientific cooperation in the agricultural domain.

Talks also covered cooperation in cultivating rice with modern technologies which save 30 percent of the used water.
