Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a meeting during his visit to Washington with EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini Friday to discuss promoting cooperation.
The meeting tackled ways to enhance bilateral ties in various fields, mainly the economic and commercial spheres, said spokesman for Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aati.
The talks also touched upon a number of issues of mutual concern, atop of which the latest developments in Syria, Iraq and Yemen, as well as ways to fight terrorism.
