Beijing - MENA
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry has stressed the gravity of Judization attempts practiced by Israel in Al-Quds, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Aati said on Friday.
Shoukry, currently on a two-day visit to Beijing, made the remarks in a meeting with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
The frequent Israeli violations, including settlement policies, confiscation of lands and denying Palestinians access to Al-Aqsa Mosque, are meant to change the Arab and Islamic character of the Holy City, Shoukry added.
Shoukry hailed as "positive" the Chinese role in supporting the lawful rights of the Palestinian people, the spokesman underscored.
Egypt's top diplomat arrived in China on Friday as he leads a delegation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Ministerial Contact Committee on Defending the Cause of Palestine.
