Arab League Secretary General Nabil el-Araby met Thursday with President of the Syrian National Coalition Moaz al-Khatib for talks on the latest developments on the Syrian front, efforts to settle the crisis besides the outcome of yesterday’s extraordinary Arab ministerial meeting which discussed preparations for the Geneva 2 conference. In a related development, sources at the umbrella Coalition said its board will meet on Wednesday to hold internal election as terms of the president, vice presidents and the secretary general have expired. A new board may be elected and some members may retain their positions.
