Reform and Development Party leader Mohamed Anwar Esmat el-Sadat and member of the Constitution Assembly (CA) called Saturday on President Mohamed Morsi to hold dialogue with political powers on the constitutional declaration. El-Sadat urged Morsi to immediately call for constructive talk with political powers over the declaration that, as he said, has widened the gap among Egyptian parties. At the heat of controversy stirred by Morsi's decisions, the political street can't stand more political clashes, he added. On Thursday, Morsi issued decisions to appoint Counselor Talaat Ibrahim as public prosecutor for a four-year term and hold re-trials into crimes pertaining to killing and injuring protesters. The decisions also included immunizing the Constituent Assembly and the Shura Council against dissolution.
