Cairo - MENA
The EU envoy to Egypt said the European bloc is committed to supporting Egypt against terrorist attacks.
During a seminar held late Wednesday, James Moran condemned the Sinai attack and Monday's killing of Prosecutor General Hesham Barakat.
Five military checkpoints were attacked simultaneously in Sheikh Zuwaid in Sinai.
About 17 soldiers and more than 100 militants were killed in Sinai confrontations.
On putting the Muslim Brotherhood offices in Europe on terror lists, he said the group is not on the terror lists now but we may put the offices on the lists in the future.
Moran added that Egypt is a key EU partner in facing the challenges in Syria, Libya and Yemen and the recent attacks will further the EU's cooperation with Egypt.
