EU High Representative Catherine Ashton Wednesday condemned in "the strongest terms " the car bombing attack in the city of Mansoura, northern Egypt, on Tuesday which reportedly killed 12 people and wounded more than 100 persons, including security personnel. "The High Representative reiterates the EU's total rejection of terrorism in all its form," said Michael Mann, spokesman for Ashton, in a statement. "The High Representative stresses the importance of bringing the perpetrators of such heinous acts to justice. She reaffirms the EU's support for the success of the transition in Egypt, " added the statement.
