The European Union condemned today the massacre perpetrated in the town of Daraya near Damascus, where 320 bodies have been discovered. Michael Mann, Spokesman for the European Union Foreign Affairs High Representative Catherine Ashton said in a news briefing: "we regret and strongly condemn this sort of violence, it's totally unacceptable." He added that the European Union unreservedly condemns the acts of violence perpetrated by the Syrian regime against the people calling for a democratic transition in Syria.
