The EU Wednesday said it is monitoring the security situation in Yemen closely after the Houthi rebels took over the country and is taking appropriate measures to ensure the safety of the staff at the EU Delegation in Sanaa.
"We continue to have a limited presence in the country," Maja Kocijancic, a spokesperson for EU High Representative, Federica Mogherini, told a news confefrence.
"Part of the EU Delegation in Sanaaa was temporarily evacuated to Brussels in June 2014," she added.
