The European Union has extended economic sanctions against Crimea for one more year, TASS reported on Friday.

"The decision to extend the economic measures against Crimea is made,” EU sources told TASS earlier on Friday. Later during the day the information was officially confirmed.

Another source said details of the lengthening is expected to be published Saturday in the official journal of the European Union.
