Members of the European Parliament will meet with their Turkish counterparts on Thursday and Friday in the European Parliament in Brussels to discuss the Syrian crisis and the EU-Turkey relations. The two-day meeting is within the framework of the 72nd EU-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee, noted an EP statement. A press conference of the JPC co-chairs, Helene Flautre and Afif Demirkiran, will be held at the end of the Friday working session, it added.
