The ambassadors of the European Union (EU) and the US to Libya welcomed the fourth draft and final Libyan political agreement presented by the United Nations (UN) Special Representative Bernadino León.

In a joint statement, the ambassadors of Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, Britain and the US underlined that this document attempts to bridge the gap between the Libyan parties.

The document, which was submitted by León, is balanced and offers the best way to end the Libyan crisis, the statement read.
