Former spokesman of the Al-Nour Party Yousri Hammad said he is not concerned about resignations tendered by senior members of the Salafist party, including its leader Emad Abdel-Ghafour. In statements to MENA, he noted that he has no specific information about the number of members who resigned from the party. Hamad underscored that he is working on forming a new political party under the rubric \"El-Watan Party\". For his part, Nadr Bakar, the spokesman for Al-Nour Party, denied all reports over the resignations within the ranks of the party\'s leaders and members. \"Those who tendered their resignations are not members in Al-Nour Party, \" Bakar told MENA. Former spokesman for the Salafist party Mohamed Nour said Tuesday that as many as 150 of senior members of the Salafist Al-Nour Party have tendered their resignation. \"We decided to resign from the party and form a new political party that will be unveiled soon,\" he told MENA.
