French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius told former Prime Minister Saad Hariri Tuesday that France is concerned with keeping Lebanon away from the ramifications of the crisis in neighboring Syria. Fabius met Hariri at the Foreign Ministry in Paris. “The Syrian crisis is not restricted to Syria alone. It is affecting the stability of neighboring countries, especially Lebanon, which is witnessing an influx of refugees. France is concerned with maintaining stability in Lebanon by keeping it away from the Syrian crisis and its dangers,” said French foreign ministry spokesman Phillipe Lalieu after the meeting.
