Fatah has called on Hamas to stop dealing with former Quartet envoy to the Middle East Tony Blair.

In a statement on Thursday, Fatah spokesman Osama Al-Qawasmi said that Blair seeks to disrupt the resolve of the Palestinian cause.

Blair has no official capacity after he was relieved from the international Quartet, the spokesman said.

"How he negotiates with Hamas and Israel!" he wondered.

The Palestinian issues are clear and do not need Blair's efforts, he added.

He called on Hamas to cease all forms of negotiations with Israel.
