Fire raged a high-rise building for five hours in downtown Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province, on Sunday night. Fire fighters are still battling the blaze, which has almost burned through the building of over 20 stories on the Qiyi Road after it broke out around 7 p.m., Xinhua reporters at the site said. No casualties have been reported so far. It is not immediately known whether there were people trapped in the building, which according to local residents had not finished construction.
