Seoul - QNA
North Korea has reportedly installed the first stage of its long range rocket on the launch pad. A senior South Korean government official told Korea's (KBS WORLD) on Monday that Seoul has acquired information that the first stage of the North's rocket has been put up on its launch pad in Dongchangri, North Pyongan Province. The official added the government is in the process of finding out the details by using South Korea-US intelligence assets. Another government official said the first stage installment means the North has initiated the general launch process for its long range missile. The North is expected to take three to four days to complete the whole assembly process for the three-stage rocket. At the current rate, the communist state will be able to complete all technical preparations for the launch by next Monday.
