Upon directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to follow up on the situation in Gaza, Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh made phone calls with British Foreign Secretary William Hague and French counterpart Laurent Fabius on the dangerous escalation in Gaza. Judeh stressed the need to immediately stop the Israeli aggression end escalation in Gaza and protect the Palestinians, warning that such aggression would lead to further tension in the region. During a phone conversation today with Egyptian counterpart Mohammed Kamel Amr, Judeh and the Egyptian minister followed up on outcomes of His Majesty King Abdullah’s phone call with the Egyptian president on developments in Gaza and means of enhancing bilateral ties.
