Egypt’s Foreign Minister has praised bilateral relations binding Egypt and Russia.

Egyptian-Russian relations are based on cooperation and the historical balance between the two countries, Shoukry said during annual conference of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science.

Russia is a big country and has huge political, economic, security and military potentials, Shoukry said.

Egypt enhances relations with the European Union, United States and Russia to serve the best interests of the Egyptian people.

Egypt seeks to have a non-permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), Shoukry said.
