Military attaches of a number of friendly and brotherly countries paid a visit on Wednesday to army servicemen who were injured in clashes with terrorists in Sinai.

The delegation wished speedy recovery for the injured, stressing the role played by the Egyptian army in fighting terrorism.

Two weeks ago, a number of army checkpoints were attacked by terrorists, leaving 17 security personnel dead.

At least 100 militants were killed by the army during the offensive.
