Former Police Commander of Dour district killed in an armed attack on Saturday, Dec. 28, in central Tikrit, Salaheddin province. Police source told NINA that gunmen opened fire, from guns with silencers, at the car of Colonel Wa’el Mowloud al-Douri, former police commander of Dour district, when driving through central Tikrit, killing him instantly. He added that security force rushed to the sight.
