The fourth general session of the Arab Parliament started on Thursday at the headquarters of the Arab League, under Speaker Ahmed Mohamed al-Jarwan. The meeting will approve the minutes of the third session that was held on April 21 and review reports by the parliament\'s committees. On Wednesday, the four permanent committees wrapped up their three-day meetings and referred their reports to the fourth general session . Earlier, Secretary of the Arab Parliament Dr. Abdel-Nasser Janahi said that the four committees reviewed at their meetings today the parliament\'s statute and hosting a forum on the Arab court for human rights that was sanctioned at the Doha-hosted Arab Summit. In statements on the sidelines of the meetings, Janahi said the political and foreign affairs and national security committee discussed means of interacting with the heads of Arab parliaments and the Arab League General Secretariat to follow up the implementation of resolutions adopted by the previous Arab summits on the Arab-Israeli conflict.
