France called on the new Israeli government of Benjamin Netanyahu to work tangibly for peace.

In a statement, French Foreign Ministry spokesman Romain Nadal said his country urges both the Palestinian and Israeli sides to reach a final and comprehensive deal that allows the establishment of a Palestinian state co-existing with Israel.
