Minister of Foreign Affairs Laurent Fabius condemned the suicide attack againsy a Shiite mosque in Saudi Arabia which claimed the lives of 21 persons.

In a statement on Saturday, Fabius has strongly condemned the attack at Imam Ali mosque in the village of al-Qadeeh, in Qatif governorate during Friday prayers.

He voiced his country's solidarity with Saudi Arabia's people and government to combat terrorism.

The attack in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province is the first to be claimed by Daesh terrorist group.
