The French Foreign Ministry condemned the series of blasts that hit Egypt Thursday morning and left one person killed.
In a statement, the ministry said France stands by the Egyptian authorities and people in their war against terrorism.
It extended its condolences to the family of the victim and expressed solidarity with the injured.
