France on Tuesday condemned a series of terrorist attacks carried out on January 26 in Borno and Adamawa states in Nigeria. Preliminary reports said that close to 100 people were killed in the attacks. "We extend our condolences to the victims' families and friends," a Foreign Ministry statement said. "France reaffirms its commitment to the fight against terrorism and reaffirms its solidarity with the Nigerian government and people," the statement added.
