France on Thursday strongly condemned the bombing in the Yemen capital, Sana\'a, on Wednesday which killed a Saudi diplomat and his Yemeni bodyguard. A statement from the Foreign Ministry said that Paris \"most vigorously condemned the attack\" and sent sincere condolences to the Saudi government and the families of the victims. France also \"reiterated its full support to the Yemeni authorities in their fight against terrorist in all its forms,\" the statement added. The French authorities again expressed ongoing support for efforts to establish stability and security in Yemen, a goal they said was \"in the interest of all Yemenis.\" France said earlier this month that it fully supported the transition in Yemen and the work of the president and remained available to provide further assistance to that country in that process.
