French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius highlighted Saturday that Paris has strong friendship with Riyadh, saying cooperation goes on at the "highest level" between both countries.

The top diplomat made the remarks during an interview with Al Arabiya News Channel.

Fabius said that his meeting with Saudi King Salman took up the latest developments in the region and means to boost relations.

Asked about Frances' stance regarding Iran and its Nuclear Program, the minister asserted that his country targets peace, adding, "no deal" if Tehran failed to meet requests on Iraq, Syria and Yemen.
