French government spokesman Stephane Le Foll announced that France will host an international meeting on the conditions in Syria and Iraq on June 2.

The meeting will be attended by US Secretary of State John Kerry.

In statements on Wednesday after a cabinet meeting, Le Foll underlined that French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said that a get-together will be held on the deteriorating conditions in the two Arab countries.
