France welcomed the launching of Operation Renewal of Hope in Yemen aiming at delivering humanitarian aid to the damaged areas and evacuating foreign nationals.

In statements on Wednesday, French Foreign Ministry spokesman Roman Nadal said that his country supports its allies in the region to restore the stability and unity of Yemen, which was underlined by French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius.

Paris hopes that this operation is implemented quickly, he noted, adding that France calls on the Yemeni parties to resume the political process so as to reach a national reconciliation.
