French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian is set to head to Jordan and Lebanon in mid-September for talks on the Syrian crisis. The French minister will meet with UNIFIL command while in Lebanon, according to sources close to him. He will also visit Jordan’s Zaatari camp near the borders with Syria, where France had sent a medical surgeries team to help Syrian refugees. The French military medical team carried out 20 operations and examined 700 refugees, according to the French defense ministry.
